The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators is a professional organization specifically for writers and illustrators working in the field of children’s publishing. The SCBWI provides a network for the exchange of knowledge and experience between writers, illustrators, editors, art directors, publishers, agents, librarians, educators, booksellers and others involved with literature for young people.
